A few hours had passed, everyone had eaten and where now back in the hall , laughing, drinking and dancing while they did so. Sophia's mother and father spoke with Nathaniel, mainly concerning business matters while she stood beside him silently. How can it be, that a single snow can be so fragile, so delicate, so pure? A little warmth and they melt, gone forever. A young maiden, beautifully pale skin and mesmerizing pale blue eyes that sparkled like frost itself. Sophia herself was indeed, just like a snow flake.
